2 Week Check Up

I took Stella to meet her pediatrician and to get her two week check up. It was also the first time I was on my own with her. It took thirty minutes to get out the door and a moment of panic when I couldn't find the lever to pop the stroller up at first, but I am so proud of myself for getting through the trip successfully and with no tears (hers or mine).

The doctor said she looks so good and Stella behaved beautifully. She didn't cry at all and just laid there and smiled while they worked her up. Here are all her new stats:

Weight: 6lbs 10.9oz (up from 5lbs 7oz 12 days before)
Length: 19in (up from 17 1/2 in at birth)
Head circumference: 13 1/2 in around (up from 12in at birth)

The day I took her to the doctor was only one day after my due date. It still blows my mind that she's here already. It was such a relief that she is growing and doing so well. It makes me feel like I'm doing something right as a mommy.
